				<description><![CDATA[<p class="p1">The 1st SS Community Yard Sale in the Marketplace at Southern Shores has come and gone! We were thrilled with everyone who&nbsp;showed up and withstood the heat of the&nbsp;day! There were about 15 families and 1 merchant who came to participate.&nbsp; We have heard positive feedback from&nbsp;some of the&nbsp;participants of the yard sale and the community.&nbsp;Some of the participants even raised money for their favorite charities!&nbsp; There were hundreds of people who came to the shopping center, so hopefully some of the merchants benefitted from the event as well.&nbsp; There is already interest in a Fall yard sale or at least making this an annual event!</p>
<p class="p1">Thank you for granting us permission to use the shopping center parking lot....it was the perfect location! Also, thank you for your support&nbsp;and willingness to work with our community group to make this event a reality.&nbsp; Have a great day!&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />

Expected to draw&nbsp; area movie-goers to the &ldquo;BIGD&rdquo; Experience&rdquo; will be the totally enhanced theater amenities offered by a wall-to-wall screen measuring&nbsp; 78 feet wide and over&nbsp; three stories tall,&nbsp; boosted by the latest in 7.1 surround sound and Digital projection of both 2D and 3D features.&nbsp; In technical terms, Carmike&rsquo;s &ldquo;BIGD&rdquo; DIGITAL Experience is powered by a cutting edge Christie Brilliant 3-D flash projector.&nbsp; Images are projected onto a colossal wall-to-wall, ceiling-to-floor screen. The end result is a light output of 30,000 lumens, creating a picture quality with noticeably higher resolution than HD.<br />

The new environment will be further embellished by the comfort of plush leather high-back rocking seats placed for optimal viewing in a stadium seating configuration.<br />
