 As CEO, Tim is responsible for all operations of Ziff Properties.  With the Firm as a Principal since the beginning, Tim has been intimately involved with every aspect of the commercial real estate business and served as CFO prior to becoming CEO in 2006.

Tim relocated from New York to Charleston in 1992 and has an extensive background in finance, management and real estate.  After building a solid analytical foundation at Touche Ross, he joined forces with Steve Ziff to own and manage Lower East Redevelopment in New York City.

Tim received his bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting from Indiana University in 1983 and a master's in Architecture and Real Estate Development from Columbia University in 1987.  He is a certified financial planner, a South Carolina real property broker, and has sat on the board of several not-for-profit corporations.
